Snelling Staffing is currently seeking machine operators for a client located in Buda, TX. This is a steel/rebar plant. “It gets hot”.

Type of Employment: Temp-to-Perm

Pay: $18/hour

Shifts: DAY SHIFT – 5 AM-5 PM OR NIGHT SHIFT – 5 PM – 5 AM

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and exhibit a positive safety attitude
• Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping
• Unload trailers and store material in storage bins
• Maintain the shop or designated area in a clean and safe manner

Experience and Skill Requirements

• Ability to work overtime as necessary outside of normally scheduled shifts with little or no advance notification required, including weekends and holidays
• Must possess basic math skills
• Ability to work outside in the elements, including extreme heat and cold
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must be able to bend, stoop, push, pull, lift, kneel, squat, crawl, and reach.
• Ability to interact with co-workers and customers in a positive manner, follow directions and work rules, and accept constructive feedback required.
• Bilingual English and Spanish speaking skills are strongly preferred.
• 2 – 3 years of leadership experience within the construction or manufacturing industry preferred.
